Theme 2:
AI for Discovery in Materials Research. A successful Materials AI Institute will transform the materials discovery landscape, enable new AI-based capabilities, and be responsive to societal challenges and industrial needs.
Intel Corporation is providing partial support for this theme.
Theme 3:
Strengthening AI presents the opportunity and necessity to research ways in which AI technologies of all sorts can be improved and integrated toward systems that are reliable and aligned with human intentions and ethical considerations.
